The PWHL Finals, presented by Scotiabank, begin tonight with Game 1 of a best-of-five series for The Walter Cup between Boston and Minnesota at 5:00 p.m. ET at the Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell.

PWHL Toronto left wing Emma Maltais, PWHL Boston center/left wing Alina Müller and PWHL Minnesota right wing Grace Zumwinkle have been voted as the three finalists for the 2024 PWHL Rookie of the Year award.

Erin Ambrose had a league-high four assists and Kristin O’Neill scored twice, including the game-winner with 46 seconds remaining in the third period, as Montréal won 4-3 against Minnesota on Thursday at Verdun Auditorium.

The PWHL schedule continues this weekend with a pair of Saturday games, including Minnesota against New York, at 3:30 p.m. ET at Xcel Energy Center.

Kendall Coyne Schofield had a goal and an assist, and Nicole Hensley stopped all 20 shots she faced as Minnesota topped Boston 4-0 on Wednesday at Xcel Energy Center.

Toronto center Sarah Nurse, Minnesota defender Sophie Jaques and Toronto defender Renata Fast have been named the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) ‘3 Stars of the Week’ for the week ending March 3.
